Special thanks go out to Carol and Kay T for notifying Alex that our Celebrity Mediterranean Cruise on November 1st has been discounted. They found this incredible information through one of the cruise website which by the way benefits all of us. Great Job!
Alex stated to me that she will be making an adjustment in our invoice. But as Kay had stated in her last posting, Celebrity with all other cruise line have all jumped in to add a per day fuel surcharge that may effect our pricing as well. So it may well be a wash!
If you see a discount specific to our cruise sail date. Please contact Alex so she can confirm this information with Celebrity. Every little bit helps! Thanks again Carolyn and Kay!

Speaking of Passports…
…In addition to the travel.state.gov website Diana provided earlier, here is a website for the US Postal Service. Many post office(s) in your city provide the opportunity for you to apply in person, or you may apply by mail with the proper forms. There is an additional fee for this of about $25, but it's a handy alternative.
The key is having 2 photographs to include with either your new application or renewal and then getting those out in time for processing. As Diana mentioned, your passport must be valid throughout the entire duration of the cruise AND six (6) months after the end of the cruise. Here’s the site where you can get info and download forms:
http://www.usps.com/passport/welcome.htm
You can get passport photos at some post office branches as well (about $15), or most camera shops and FedEx/Kinkos can take them for you, too. They need to be a specific size, so be sure you get them somewhere that will produce the right size and view required. New photos are required even if you are renewing your passport.
