Welcome to the Davis Med Cruise 2008

WELCOME ABOARD…and thank you so much for joining us on this 2008 Mediterranean Cruise.

Although our Celebrity Summit Cruise ship won’t be sailing until November 1st, this cruise has been long in the making……almost 3 years now.

Many of you will recall the Martini Bar on the Entertainment Deck of the Summit where Manny our bartender served up some very creative libations (and for a lot of us it is just a big blur) on our Caribbean Cruise in March of 2005. Well, somewhere between St. Maarten and St. Lucia, Diana and Roger were approached by their friends and co-cruisers (about 40 of you on that trip) as to what was in store for our next getaway. How many of you recall this?? Or were you in Roger’s condition?? In any case, this Mediterranean Cruise is the result of that gathering.

So now here we are getting ready to sail out with what we thought would be an optimistic guess of about 20 guests ---- are you ready? NINTY-SIX individuals have placed a deposit and that is our current roster to date. Now that’s exciting!

We know that you have met Alex Kuncio our Travel Agent from Innovative Travels and she has recently announced that she and her husband Ted Rodriguez will be also joining us. Fantastic! We have touched bases with many of you and have slowly met few of the new faces to us. This includes our new friend and cruise blog Partner/Editor Kay Tindel.

We hope you will find our cruise blog helpful and fun. We look forward to your participation in posting your information and resources as you begin to explore the 6 fabulous countries and 10 intriguing ports of call as we cruise through the Mediterranean.
