Before we go any further about our cruise, I want to introduce you to Kay Tindel. Kay is my new friend and hopefully soon to be yours as well! Kay has graciously accepted to be my partner/editor on this blog site that she has created. Didn’t she do a fabulous job! We hope to create an avenue for sharing information & resources, displaying announcements and creating enthusiasm as we journey together on our Mediterranean Cruise. Kay will be attending the cruise with us and has traveled previously to some of the countries we will be visiting. If you think you have some information that may benefit the group please contact either of us for consideration in placing this information on our blog or feel free to just post a comment.

Diana & Roger,
I am Kay's friend and fellow travel companion, Carol Quackenbush. I am so glad you got your blog going. I know your other cruise friends will find it fun and informaive. I look forward to looking at it many times in the next few months. Kay has also helped me with exploring a lot of sites I would not have found on my own. The trip already seems fun and exciting. Hope to meet you both before we leave in Oct. We seem to have a similar travel schedule.
This is fantastic, thanks so much for putting it together.
Dennis
It's hard to think of cool martinis when I'm sitting here at Mammoth watching snow fall horizontally. I suppose I'll have to watch the Super Bowl game. Can't wait for the November cruise...packing will be so much easier than prepping and carting 32 boxes of food and party items like we did for Hawaii.
Does anyone know the name and address of the port in Barcelona where the ship departs? Thanks!
Welcome all. Robin, I think that the port in Barcelona is one of the few that are actually located right there in the city and called the port of BArcelona! See this article (if link works:

Okay, another try for a link to the article.
